Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on the AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 and in 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series. Her other roles comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during Preparatory before her Family moved to Ohio. The theatre studies she pursued were through Northwestern University. A semester was completed in the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint in Chicago the theatre before moving to television and film. In 1992, Anna landed her first big role in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Following her appearance as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's and was later chosen to play Jean Ward as part of The Practice. The mid-2000's saw her was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler as Skyler in Breaking Bad. She also starred in the Deadwood film as well as Sully. Gunn was on stage for David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn also played in a 4-part audio-play series known as "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story that Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their strained bond and eventual end resembles the final years in Walter White's story.
